Vibration training is commonly used for dynamic warm-up and recovery training, and by physical therapists for routine rehabilitation and pre-injury prevention.
1. Weight loss
Vibration therapy can only be said to have a somewhat energy-draining effect, and the available evidence does not support weight loss (thought to be more than 5% of body weight). Although small individual studies have reported weight loss, their methods often incorporate diet or other exercises. They also include vibrating belts and sauna suits, which have no real effect on fat burning.
2. Recovery Training
Athletes are less likely to train with vibration because the frequency of vibration is too high and the amplitude is not enough to create a sufficiently unstable environment. But the effect is better when used before stretching after training, stretching and relaxation effect is better.
3. Delayed soreness
Vibration training can reduce the chances of delayed muscle soreness. Vibration training can significantly reduce the degree of delayed muscle soreness.
4. Pain threshold
The pain threshold increases immediately after vibration training.
5. Joint Mobility
Vibration training can more rapidly improve the change in joint range of motion due to delayed muscle soreness.
The range of motion of the joint increases immediately after vibration training.
Vibration training is effective in restoring joint range of motion.
Compared to static stretching or foam rolling without vibration, vibration training with foam rolling increases joint range of motion.
6. Muscle Strength
There was no significant effect of vibration training on muscle strength recovery (some studies have also found to improve muscle strength and explosive power in athletes).
A transient decrease in muscle strength was observed immediately after the vibration treatment.
Maximum isometric contraction and isometric contraction decreased after exercise. More research is needed to address individualized parameters such as amplitude and frequency and their effects.
7. Blood flow
Vibration therapy increases blood flow under the skin.
8. Bone Density
Vibration may have a positive effect on the prevention of aging and osteoporosis, with individuals requiring different stimuli.
